Special Event with a Purpose

Benefit Ride for Jordan Hasley to be rescheduled
JordanHasley.jpg (65148 bytes)

On June 8th 2007, Jordan was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia ( a cancer of the white blood cells). She started chemotherapy treatments that very day, and has continued treatments since the diagnosis. She has received treatments at least once a week for the past seven months. She will continue chemotherapy at the Jimmy Everest Center in Oklahoma City for the next two years until roughly October of 2009. After her treatments are over, she will continue to be monitored on a monthly basis for the rest of her life to make sure that the Leukemia does not come back. Even though Jordan has responded very well to the treatments, there is no guarantee that Jordan will remain cancer free. Despite that fact that Jordan is having to battle cancer at 6 years old, she has been extremely brave and upbeat through it all. It has been a very tough battle for her an! d her family thus far and they have more obstacles to overcome.

Therefore the Hasley family has spent thousands of dollars in medical bills since Jordan's diagnosis and will continue to have many more expenses along the tough road ahead of them. It is our wish to help the Hasley family and bless them with a donation of all proceeds from our fundraiser to help with their medical bills. Our week will include numerous activities such as a student/faculty basketball game, a dodge ball tournament, silent auction, and a talent show.

Patriot Guard Riders

Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

The Patriot Guard Riders is an amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a “hawk” or a “dove”. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is. You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American military heroes. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Protect the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means. http://www.patriotguard.org/

"Family Safe Fun!"

Although not really a club in the traditional sense, but if you ride a motorcycle, trike, scooter, moped, whether it be a sport bike, cruiser, dirt bike, trials, MX, etc. you are member of this club.  We invite all riders from all disciplines or types of riding to come and share dinner and stories with us. No hassles because you don't ride the right brand or style of bike.

Our Thursday night rides stick to the Oklahoma City metro for destinations and are planned to allow even small motorcycles and scooters can participate. Thursday nights we meet at Del City Albertson's parking lot near the big sign on South side (SE 29th side) and ride to the destination as a group at 6:30 PM.  All others can meet us at our destination about 7:00 PM.

Our Sunday afternoon rides usually travel a little farther, we go as far as Chickasha, El Reno, Wayne, etc.  The Saturday rides are better suited for motorcycles and scooters capable of maintaining speeds up to 65 mph. Sunday afternoon we meet at Oklahoma Honda Suzuki, 3400 S. Sunnylane in Del City at 1:30 PM. The rides are slated to start at 2:00 PM.

All our events are family friendly. . . so you can bring the whole family. Join us next Thursday or Sunday afternoon, you'll have a great time.  Click here for a listing of our upcoming "Bike Nites"

The OKC Family Bike nights are organized by the CMSR (Classic Motorcycle & Scooter Riders).
