Benefit Run for Savanna Hicks
We will be having a benefit run for Savanna Hicks on May 10th. Savanna is a 9-yr. Old who was diagnosed with scoliosis in Aug. 2007. She has a 30-degree curvature in her spine. She now wears a back brace at night and has to return to the doctor every 3 months for another scan. This run will help with the cost of that.
We will meet at 8803 N. Harrison in Shawnee at
The Watering Hole Saloon at 12 p.m. last bike out at 1 p.m.
Cost is $20.00 per rider and $5.00 per passenger.
We will make the following stops:
   2) Office Club in Harrah ( hwy.62 outside Harrah)
   3) Blues Club in McCloud (29th and Dobbs Road)
   4) Kickstanz in McCloud ( 411 West Broadway)

Ada Bike Run 2008
Ada Area Youth Services is a nonprofit organization that has provided services to Pontotoc and Coal Counties since 1971. The Ada Area Youth Shelter is also housed within Ada Area Youth Services. The shelter provides 24 hour a day emergency care for children, ages birth to 18, who have no alternative living arrangements available.
The bike run will begin at Home Depot, 515 J A Richardson Blvd in Ada, OK. GPS coordinates: N34 47.348 W096 40.280. First bike out 9AM, Last Bike out 11AM. A meal will be provided at the completion of the run, and there will be more than a thousand dollars in prizes awarded to participants. 100% of proceeds to benefit Ada Youth Shelter.

McLoud Fraternal Order of Volunteer Firefighters 1st Annual Poker Run
The goal of this poker run is to raise money for Fire Prevention education in our community, as the materials are very expensive.
You can Pre-register for the poker run for only $15.00 plus $5.00 for your rider by sending in the pre-registration form to PO Box 822, McLoud OK 74851, or you can come to Kickstandz at 411 W. Broadway in McLoud to register, starting at 9:00 a.m. on May 17th, this cost is $20.00, plus $5.00 for your rider. You must sign a Waiver form before the Poker Run begins.
First bike out at 10:00 a.m., Last bike out at 12:00 noon, Last bike in at 5:00 p.m.
The tentative plans for the day are as follows:
   1st card at Kickstandz, 411. W. Broadway, McLoud
   2nd card at Bob's Lake Lounge, HWY 9, Little Axe
   3rd card at Stan's, HWY 9, east of Seminole
   4th card at VFW Post #1719, 3004 N. Post Rd., Chandler
   5th card and awards at American Legion Post #244, 126 N. Main st., McLoud
The Christian Motorcyle Club (Motorcyclists for Jesus) will be serving refreshments at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stops.
The American Legion members will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. Any donation would be appreciated.

Motorcyclists from around the Country will be departing California on May 12 en route to Washington D.C.
The Torch they Carry will light the way for the Gold Star Mothers during the annual Candlelight Vigil held at the Viet Nam Memorial. During Memorial Weekend riders will participate in the Rolling Thunder POW/MIA demonstration ride down Constitution Ave, and visit Walter Reed Hospital.
Come Join the Sunset Chapter OF ABATE in riding out to Clinton and meet the Carry the Flame Riders, and ride to the El Reno VFW Post, for big Lunch (Donation) and Program and Torch lighting Ceremony. Program will have Great Music and Recognition of Special Guests.
8am - Registration begins, 10am - Ride to Clinton to met Rolling thunder 12:30 - Due back in to the VFW for Lunch
2pm- Program and Torch lighting Ceremony
