RIDE FOR MDA
Bikers Support Muscular Dystrophy Association
[Stillwater, June 6, 2009] The Land Run Harley Owners Group Chapter
will be hosting an MDA Fun Run on Saturday, July 18, 2009. The event is open to the
general public and individuals may register in advance due to attendance expectations. The
first fifty registered riders will receive a commemorative MDA pin. Additional pins will
be available while supplies last for a $5 donation. On-site registration will begin at 9
a.m. We will depart at 10:30 a.m. to begin "Cruizing the Streets" to show our
support for this worthwhile organization.
Tickets are $15 per rider and $10 per passenger when you register
prior to July 11, 2009. Individuals may also register on the morning of the ride for $20
per rider and $15 per passenger. The ride will begin and end at Forman Harley-Davidson,
3512 S. Boomer Rd., Stillwater, OK 74074. All proceeds will be donated to MDA.
MDA is a national health agency that is combating some 43
neuromuscular diseases through major research and patient services programs. As a national
corporate sponsor of MDA, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, the only major American-based
motorcycle manufacturer, has raised more than $71 million for MDA since 1980. |

Starting a chapter of the Oklahoma Christian
Sportbike Assoc.
I have been approached to start and lead a chapter of the Christian
Sportbike Riders Assocation in Oklahoma. I enjoy outreach ministry work, my testimony is
powerfull, God has forgiven me for so much. I have struggled and seem to stumble daily.
But, that is the fight we fight daily, we pick up our cross daily, we ask for forgiveness
daily. I strive to be an example of a lighted lamp, in the dark...
I have seen and learned, the vehicle in which we drive is an awesome
ministry tool. If you had one day left to live – would change anything? how would you
like to be remembered?
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come! - 2 Cor.5:17
We all fall short of God, but through Jesus we are forgiven all
sins. This Assocation is intended for those that are not drawn to organized or doctrine
church. Our church can be in every twisty, and straight-away.

Awards given away at 6 p.m. with best hand winning $500, worst hand $250, 50/50 pot, door

The 7-Eleven Summer Sizzler Motorcycle Poker Run to benefit Muscular

"Family Safe Events for Motorcycle &
Scooter Riders!"
Although not really a club in the traditional sense, but if you ride
a motorcycle, trike, scooter, moped, whether it be a sport bike, cruiser, dirt bike,
trials, MX, etc. you are member of this club. We invite all riders from all
disciplines or types of riding to come and share dinner and stories with us. No hassles
because you don't ride the right brand or style of bike.
Our Thursday night rides stick to the Oklahoma City
metro for destinations and are planned to allow small motorcycles and scooters to
participate. Thursday nights we meet at the Del City Homeland parking lot
(SE 29th & Sunnylane) near the big sign on South side (SE 29th side) and ride to the
destination as a group at 6:45 PM. All others can meet us at our destination about
7:15 PM.
Our Saturday
evening or Sunday afternoon rides are better
suited for motorcycles and scooters capable of maintaining speeds up to 70 mph. Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons we meet at Oklahoma Honda Suzuki, 3400 S. Sunnylane in Del City.
